JOB DESCRIPTION: Call Center Supervisor.

  • Working Supervisor: 50% of time on calls, 25% training & coaching and 25% HR duties.
  • Supervise 6-8 CSR’s.
  • You will report to our Customer Svc. Mgr., participate in in-house Manager meetings and interact directly with our client’s staff members.
  • No selling, telemarketing, collections or complaint lines.

HOURS: We hire employees for specific days and hours (no shift-bidding).  This full-time position includes the following hours.

PAYRATE: $18+ per hour depending upon experience.  Please don’t hesitate to apply if your current pay rate is higher than our posted minimum.  We will definitely take your skill level and history of managing teams into consideration when we make a final offer.  Also, an additional pay premium is available for candidates fluent in Spanish as well as English.  We pay weekly.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • One year of previous telephone, computer, and Internet navigation experience.
  • One year of previous experience supervising others in a call center or customer service department.
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask (i.e. listen to callers, move through computer screens, type, and ask questions).
  • Strong spelling and written communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Cultivate positive teamwork and provide training, coaching and mentoring to your staff.

TESTING:

  • You will be tested for your typing, spelling, software experience and communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • We participate in the eVerify Social Security number verification process.

TRAINING:

  • You will get thorough training and receive your regular pay rate during your training period.
  • You will participate in ongoing continuing education.

LOCATION: 4801 Chastain Ave., Charlotte NC 28217.

We are located off of Woodlawn Rd. near the I-77 exit. We are within minutes of three major highways: I-77 Woodlawn Exit, I-85 Billy Graham Exit, and I-485 (off I-77 or South Blvd.). Free parking is available directly in front of our building.

SUITE 1000 provides a formal training program during which you receive full pay.  It includes classroom instruction, hands-on practice and side-by-side coaching on calls.  In addition you will receive training on our clients, staff members, HR policies and procedures and leadership training. We make sure that you are thoroughly prepared for your position.

Once you are trained and up-to-speed, we allow you to make occasional shift-trades with other Supervisors to accommodate appointments, special occasions, vacations, etc. We want you to have a real life!
